The Beatitudes Puzzle
Challenge yourself to arrange the Beatitudes in their correct order as Jesus taught them in the Sermon on the Mount.
About the Beatitudes
The Beatitudes are eight blessings that begin Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew (5:3-12). They form the core of Christian teaching and present a new set of ideals that focus on love and humility rather than force and exaction.
Each beatitude begins with "Blessed are" and describes a different group of people whom Jesus calls blessed or happy. Rather than praising the strong, wealthy, or powerful, Jesus blesses those who are humble, merciful, and persecuted.
The Beatitudes provide a portrait of Christ's disciples and offer a glimpse into the values of God's Kingdom. They are considered to be among the most profound and counter-cultural of Jesus' teachings, offering hope to those who are suffering and guidance on how to live a blessed life.
