Ten Commandments Puzzle

Challenge yourself to arrange the Ten Commandments in their correct numerical order as presented in Catholic tradition.

About the Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments (also known as the Decalogue) were given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai as recorded in the Book of Exodus. They represent the fundamental moral code that forms the foundation of Judeo-Christian ethics and law.

In Catholic tradition, the commandments are arranged slightly differently than in some other Christian denominations. The Catholic Church follows the Augustinian division, which was also used by Luther, where the prohibition against coveting is split into two commandments (9th and 10th).

The Ten Commandments continue to be central to Catholic moral teaching, serving as the basis for understanding our relationship with God (commandments 1-3) and with our neighbors (commandments 4-10).

The Ten Commandments Ordering Puzzle

Arrange the Ten Commandments in the correct numerical order by dragging and dropping them. The numbers will be revealed once you've placed all commandments in their proper position. This challenging puzzle will test your knowledge of these foundational moral principles.

Memorizing the Ten Commandments in their proper order helps Catholics maintain a clear understanding of God's moral law. While all the commandments are important, learning their sequence helps us appreciate how they progress from our duties to God to our duties toward our neighbors, reflecting Jesus' teaching that the whole law is summed up in love of God and love of neighbor.
